Founded by Dr. Dan L. Fortenbacher, WoW Vision Therapy is a practice dedicated to developmental and rehabilitative vision care. It was establsihed with the mission to help each patient reach their own personal goals through attainment of an improved visual system.

Dr. Fortenbacher received his Doctor of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1979. He pursued rigorous post graduate study and became a Board Certified Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development in 1987. Dr. Fortenbacher lectures extensively on developmental and rehabilitative optometry and served as an examiner for the International Examination and Certification Board of COVD from 1999 to 2004. He has served in several leadership positions for the profession on the state and national level. He was elected President of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development in 2007.

Dr. Fortenbacher is also a Clinical Professor of Michigan College of Optometry providing an externship opportunity in vision therapy for 4th MCO Students in his private practice.
